Not much of a boilie man myself.

Prefer old school baits, corn, cheese, corned beef etc.

sometimes there engine managment light comes on and go in limp mode. thats the time to net them

my biggest carp was about 21lb. that was caught on corn. A lot of people are still ignoring lobworm and brandling as hookbait. Ive caught my best fish with these as they are used less and not such an obvious bait. you do get a lot of hassle with smaller fish having a nibble though.


I have caught a 30+ lb salmon on worm whilst chub fishing. that was scary.

Awesome that. My best carp was a 17lber on light gear. Was only bream fishing with maggots!!

Caught bigger ones, but non as challenging as that one.
