well the car was sounding ruff today, checked the dipstick, a tiny dribble on the very tip of it.  
put a bit in before, sounds alot smoother 
should i be expecting it to break soon, or will it be ok?

Will be fine as oil light didn't come on. There would have still been enough oil to pump aroung the engine.

I went to top up the oil in my Vectra the other day, took 4 litres. Ooops.

ye i aint checked it since its been topped up, i'll do it in abit.
oil and filter change is on the cards, sort of
