Maybe I should have put these as seperate topics, but here goes.....
Which panel filter would people recommend from experience?
I've seen a few posts on here regarding changing the inlet-manifold. Has anyone done this? If so, how much did it cost, what gains does it offer, and which manifold has been used? Would gains be same on an otherwise standard car, or is this meant for more modified engines?
Cheers, Aboo............
Have just been on Regal website and they have an enlarged throttle body. As above, has anyone got one and is it worthwhile?
Apologies if these topics have been covered before, new to this forum and to corsa

1. I know a lot of people that use K&N panel filters.
2. The standard inlet is poop. Change this for a mantzel or dbilas item. Do a search. there is shootloads of info on price, fitting etc.

iv got a k&n panel filter in a de restricted airbox and just fitted a dbilas inlet manifold,
i have a standard exhaust and standard cat.
the gain from these few mods has been excellent, the car is much more torquey and a hell of alot more free revving- the inlet manifold got rid of all the flat spots on my engine and now pulls like hell all the way to the red line, well worth the money but an absolute proverbial to fit!

I've gone for Green over K&N, it doesn't contain as much oil.
The manifold will give you a healthy gain just on its own, but with other mods you will see greater benefits. A remap would be a good idea too.
I wouldn't bother with the enlarged throttle body unless you were needing more fuel.

yeah, its alot quicker now- think the egr may need a bit of playing with as the em light decides to come on now and again but it doesn't affect performance at all.
