Hed kandi's a brand mate, loads of dj's play under it. Used to be good but it's verging on watered down commercial pap these days. Got to big and the founder left has he was getting forced to do things by the money men.

Where this at Mode?

Like Carl has said its moving down a very commercicaslied root now days. Plus if your not a coke head & don't dress in designer gear, they look at you like an outkast if you go to a Head Kandi night . But Head Kandi get's loads of fanny

went to Hed Kandi summer ball in Area last weekend.. was awesome. but very very busy (a little too busy)

they usually desk the place out too, make it look all nice with Kandi posters, mobiles and ballons. tis wicked stuff

(but yes it is getting a little much these days, i prefer NDSM nights, any filthy Electro House gets me wet)

It's getting too commercial That new Tokyo Dance thing that one of the HEd Kandi guys has started seems to be taking over the club that normally does Hed Kandi in Birmingham.

Tokyo Project. He's started another one now called Fierce angel, saw adverts for it in Ibiza just at a small location. As said the hed kandi nights atract alot of birds but also alot of ego's who think they are mint but generally have too much shit up their nose or part of the "in" group for that area with all their wannabe mates.
Still they are generally desent as unless you live in a city there other places are generally full on cheese etc as thats what the majority of paying customers want on their nights out.
Fuck knows why morons what to listen to shit like baywatch theme week in, week out. Load of toss shit places like that.

Cheese is fecking annoying, and being a student doesn't help. Every student night at every bar plays shit music, apart from when I can get into Gods Kitchen for free on thier NUS night
