tbh they should not be able to claim compensation, as its in the airlines smallprint & such that any suspected acts of terrorism & such the airline can not be held responsible, etc.
also if they did try and claim & went to court, they will just get slated and told to piss off by the judge i feel, given the current state of things in regards to terrorism, its not something which should be joked about or taken lightly, regardles of race, or even if they were just arsing about!

Its very difficult to call which way a legal hearing would go. If they're entitled to it, they're entitled to it, regardless of their attitude. I personally feel it stinks, but it stinks whether they actually succeed or not. The situation already clearly demonstrates how fodder this country is.

well if they do manage to get compensation for it, given the reasonings, etc, then I will loose yet more faith in the justice system, which at present, is already nonexistent!

No way should the airlines give them any form of compensation or an apology. I didnt see the interview this morning but from the information in the first post it seems like they dont really care and are glad they done it.
It really pisses me off now that whenever you mention about muslims your being racist and the two mentioned above will no doubt use this against them to blag more money out of us.

they will get it purely for the fact they are muslims, if they were white british they would not get a penny, and would probably be banged up by now

I think the fact that they've admitted it was deliberate vindicates the passengers who were concerned. There was the suggestion that they had been a little hasty. There was clearly enough to go on thought - those people wanted to do it.
