does it matter what car i get a 1.6 out of. the one i'm after is in a mk3astra. will it still hav the same ecu end mountings. its for a 1.2sxi corsa b. 1999

X16XEL - 100bhp i think
X16XE - 106bhp
due to the XEL having the ports off a 14XE i think

As said above, the Astra engine is the X16XEL. L for lower output.
This is because the XEL has a different inlet and also head and (cams?) from an X14XE which has smaller ports.
