Ok i am about to buy an amplifier, and was just checking out the specifications for the BLAUPUNKT-CALGARY-MP35 Head Unit ive got.

Ive noticed that when i was looking at OTHER blaupunkt head units on the internet its mentions that they have "Preamp out for driving an external amplifier (2-channel version) "

But on the specifications for MY Head unit in metions nothing about having any Pre amp outputs.

Here are the specifications for the 2 different head units. Please could sombody explain to me if an Amplifier can be hooked up to any head unit, or it does it need to have pre am[ outputs?

is this your head unit ?

If so it has 4 pre-outs

most blauplunts have pre-outs but you need the optonal lead to use them (not supplied as standard with the head unit)
