Got up a few hours ago, thought "I'll clean the kitchen", so done the usual of washing the work surafces/splashbacks etc, then part disassembled and washed the gas hob, dried it off, put it back togther and though "better just check all the burners work" now only two of the four do, the other two don't spark, it's all back together the way it should be, I didn't use an excessive amount of water so it won't be that it's soaking wet, it just refuses to work FOR NO REASON!
So I think "I'll just mop the floor and look at the hob later", get all the water/cleaner all mixed up, grab the mop, put mop in water, take it out and the head is half hanging off, can't be repaired so I'll have to buy a new one - cue me crawling round on my kitchen floor doing it with an old cloth
Just wondering what's gonna go wrong next tbh

Jules that happens to my cooker as well, i take the bits off to clean then dont put them back on properly so they dont spark.
Try taking them off and putting back down, wiggle them abit etc
Well done for cleaning thou, my house is getting messy where it feels like i dont have any more time to clean!!

Ally Pally - I work shifts, 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off - today is my third day off.
Just been tampering with it again as it was bugging me (I hate it when things go wrong for no reason and I spend ages thinking about it - I can never just accept it!).
Managed to get one of the hobs working but the last one was proving tricky - it was as if the spark wasn't strong enough to reach where it needed to ignite the gas - anyway, kind of lost my temper in the end, turned the gas on that ring and held my finger on the ignition button whilst wiggling the problem one around - BOOM it sparked into life and I'm a few hairs fewer on my right arm now but it appears to now being working so I'll leave it as it is I think!
Mop if still knackered though - damn JML Supermop, knew I should of gone with a traditional one!
