You mean you want a lower ratio to reduce revs at speed? And your only doing 50-60? If you have a 5 speed box it shouldnt be at that high of revs at those speeds, only if you have a 4 speed box.
My corsa 5 speed (1.4 8v) corsa runs at decent revs at 70 i find. Mine runs at 3k, which is exactly the same as my dads Vectra SRI 150. My moms Rover 25 1.4 16v runs at 3.5k at 70 and my mates Mini Cooper 1.6 16v does about 3.7K at 70.
Unless you have a 1.6 16v Corsa a higher ratio would kill all your power totally, the 5th on these boxes is already pretty long to be fair.

it is a 1.6 sport, i guess the ratios are shorter too improve acceleration, but, for instance on the motorway at higher speeds or on national speed limit roads iv found myself slippin it out of fifth to change up cuz of the amount of revs its doin. just wonderin if anythin could actually be done, or if perhaps the f28 box mite fit?

You could fit a longer geared box, or swap the final to a 3.74, but it does kill off the acceleration of the car.
I'd guess you're running an F15CR with a 3.94, which should be fine.
I used to have a 4.18 in my track nova 4krpm at 70mph

My 1.4 Sport does 3.5k at 70mph, 4k at 80mph, 4.5k at 90mph etc etc. I think its a bit excessive but it's still quite good on fuel. I've been driving the works car this week though and that does 3.2k at 100mph which is brilliant.
