I have a runabout too, keeps mileage down on the vectra and makes it even better when you do drive it, its the way forward

106 1.4 XSi, Corsa 1.5 TD, Astra 1.7 TD "Sport", Mk3 Golf TD 110 or some other turbo diesel.

i have a nice solid diese for going to work and back
and a project car to work on re-build restore and keep nice and drive when its sunny and i can enjoy it

it reckons that my bro's 53plate astra coupe 1.8 is £190

my corrado VR6 = £175

Your bros car was made after 02, therefore his car falls under the new car tax rules which applys to emmisions and no engine sizes.

im gonna get rid of the soarer and fto methinks and buy a mgzt diesel thingy and just keep the 944 for weekends


diesels during the week are the way forward
