The hose circled in red, where does this go?

I'm assuming it is a breather hose? It seems to go to the back of my engine somewhere but I can't tell exactly where unless I remove a few things from my engine...

round the back of the engine to engine block (crankcase breather)

Any idea where exactly? I am thinking of replacing this hose as it looks brittle (the pic is not my engine BTW I stole it from Dave A's garage ).

i think the middle of the block there is a 75mm metal pipe going up and then the rubber hose connects to that, easies to get from under neat

cant say iv removed one with the inlet still on the car, i think the route is abit tight and fiddley too, but nothings impossable

One last question, does this breather hose tend to get clogged up with crap like the other ones from the rocker cover?

yer they can get that mustard colour stuff in, only ever look when head is removed due to head gasket gone tho
