Rite basically today was coming threw old Durham road doing 30mph, it was lashing with rain, windows misty a bit ect, the road developed into a slight incline, as I was chatting to my lass in the car still doing 30mph, the hill increased and the car speeded up to 38mph (aprox) when the girlfriend shouts speed camera! I was like ah F*uck!, so what you lot think?
It was one of them non-flashing type, do you think I will get dun for it? what's more annoying was the camera was in the shadow of some tree's so i didn't even see it before I knew it.

What do I think? You got caught.
No way around it. If it was raining so hard you should have been paying attention more and it's illegal to drive a car with misted up windows.

Annoying You might have got away with it. I take it you slammed on the brakes when you went though?
Don't all speed cameras flash? Gatso's white and Truvo's purple?

I think ur gunna get shafted matey =/
U might be very lucky if u slammed ur brakes on, cos its 10%+2mph of the speed limit *30 being 3+2 so hope that u were doing 35mph

Pretty sure speedos aren't allowed to under-read the speed (ie. speedo can't read 35mph when you're doing 40mph, but can read 40mph when you're doing 35mph - numbers made up, there may be a percentage-allowance), or am I thinking of something else?

You might find that where it was raining and everything misting up that it didnt get a clear shot on your plate, hopefully there was too much spray coming from yours and other cars

For instance when i crossed the line at avon park in my 106 my speedo always read about +/-100mph but my ET speed was always around 90mph
Also evidence in other cars, using GPS. Always around 30 in every car iv owned has the speedo read about 33mph when i am doing 30
