Corsa GSi and 1.6 Astra Sport Engine

Just theres about a 20bhp difference is there not?

the astra sport is 98bhp, the gsi is 109 is it not? only a 11 horse power difference, however, i have no idea what the difference is, sorry

different inlets and the Astra one wouldnt be as good to tune

valves are diffrent iirc, and they produce more torque, also there boxes are hydrolic as well

its not the valves, its the ports. an X16XEL (astra) uses the head from an X14XE, or thereabouts, and has a crap inlet.
