ordered myself K and N Ind kit with heatshield and cold air piping...

Now plans are to feed it into the standard box so heat isn't a problem...if i can, easy to get plenty of cold air to it as there is a pipe coming from the wing area that feeds the OE filter with air.

Was talking to mechanic at volvo dealership today and was saying due to the design or the bay the filter sits away from main heat sources under the bay off to the right hand side so heat should not be a problem...

I'll see what it's like, if it induces any flat spots it will come right off and go on fleabay..

see what happens...

yeah the tech at the dealrship said they perform well on these engines and no probs have been seen or reported...

sounds a bonus.

as Long as it's fitted right etc..

RR day soon so we will see..

list of cars look impressive..

could have had a date sooner if it wasn't for needing to be 4 wheel drive rollers.
