just been quoted 1373 fully comp on a 95 plate. 2 yrs ncb, 19, no accidents etc. I dont think this is to bad but stil more than a corsa c 1.8 sri ( abput 1100 think it was )

anybody else found this when insuring an older car it being more than a newer one??

Age of the car will come in to it, as in theory, it should be an easier target for car thiefs. Get a Cat 1 alarm and inform the insurer, hopefully it'll knock the price down a bit.

Ive just been quoted on a 1995 plate Corsa GSi £678 fully comp, Im 19, 0 ncb, 0 accidents or points. Try adding an older woman onto the policy as a named driver like your mum? Worked for me
