Standard VAG diesel maps have lots of room for improvement.

160bhp from the 130TDi and 185 from the 150TDi along with massive torque increase.

Ross Clarkes old Fabia VRS had around 210BHP and 340ft/lb torque that was with a remap and uprated turbo.

**Edited as I found the spec sheet:**

Engine

Turbo Dynamics/AmD Hybrid VNT turbo
Milltek Stainless Steel Exhaust with ‘Jet’ Tailpipe
Milltek High Flow Sports Cat
Green Panel filter
AmD Custom Remap

Power = 210bhp and 340 lbft torque

It was bloody impressive car! If only they did a 3 door, but then who would buy a polo

few people have had gearbox's go on diesels after a remap as they can't take the extra torque
