Yeah , its ok nothing special though

you would be better staying in a surf lodge as its just as cheap and you dont have to catch the bus in and out on town

No. but I went there last week.

My and my GF stayed at a family one - Monkey Tree, but my mates where all at sunnyside

Ive never seen such a shit heap of a campsite before.

Lads everywhere pissing on each others tents - setting fire to t-shirts and throwing em everywhere, and the toilets where literally covered in shit. Everywhere, on the walls, floor and shower.

Dont do it.

Were travelling down on the 24th and then coming back on the 28th. All I pray is that the shower block is clean as 10 girls fighting for one shower in the caravan will be a nightmare.

I will come and say hi

Sorry, didnt mean to put you off it - maybe it was just a bad crowd when I went.

All i know is, we drove away thinking that If we HAD have gone there ourselves, we would have fucked off and found a BnB even if it meant loosing our money.

If it is that bad then I will find the nearest travel lodge. I am a girls who likes a clean hot shower and then a power plug with a mirror to straighten my hair and do my make-up. Dont ask for much really. Fingers crossed it isnt too bad

Sunnyside is 'crap' as far as normal campsites go, but its a laugh, usually a good crowd, people go and chat in other caravans late at night, and you wont get moaned at for making noise late at night either. Staying at Newquary surf lodge etc is easier, but not if you are taking several cars.

Ive always had a laugh at sunnyside, have been 4 or 5 times before. The showers are hot, and the caravans have plugs, mirrors and all that you will need. Rooms can be a bit cold mind. I find it very difficult to get cold e.g im always walking around in December in a tshirt, but Sunnyside caravans are freezing. If you have the choice sleep in the lounge with the heater!

Like any 'young' place though, its good for a laugh, I'm sure youll get that! Just dont expect luxury!

Bonus is the bus, and there are always taxi's leaving sunnside that come right down the long driveway into the campsite, if theres loads of you its just as cheap as the bus.

They do still have the grass carparks. Called fields.

I went there at the end of May. Its ok, but no good if you're looking for a quiet time. There are lots of idiots there, but the toilets were quite clean when we were there. If you're in a caravan, you'll have your own toilets anyway won't you?
