Ive got a valve in my car but have read on other forums where this should be fitted.What is the purge valve?apparently it goes on the hose leading to the charcoal canister.Any pics/help would be ace!!

I have one on mine got annoyed with it and closed the valve so it doesnt do anything except look pretty under the bonnet!

iv got one on mine, makes an annoying noise, and i think it is causing the engine to run lean (by looking at the sparks, they are brown one side???) which could burn the exhaust valves out, well so iv read. and unsure of mpg either because fitted a lightened flywhee at simulatar time

Cheers mate i think im gonna get rid of it as all ive heard about them is that theyre crap and annoying!
