Well apparently my car is worth about £2k, the interest is there anyway. So should I sell it on and buy something else considering I only paid 800 for it in the first place, or keep going with the rally car project and start competing this winter?

16v is group 13, but for that id rather sell up and get a gti cos then I couldnt rally it anyway.

Yeah s1s seem to go sell really well these days, I dont know if its because they are so rare, but theres alot of interest with them, where as s2 rallyes dont seem to be selling well. Thats on 95k aswell.

plus once the shell is over 100k miles people will almost certainly think twice about paying 2 grand for it...

IF you can get £2000 for it for definate, i'd get rid. £900 profit is'nt to be sniffed at.

Not a hope in hell of getting 2k for it im afraid.. Mine went for 2k and that was spotless, compomotives, rebuilt engine etc..

You say that but ive already had the interest, dont think people are too bothered about mods. Probably just people looking for a base for a rally car.
