Few of my mates are like this now. But theres still enough left to allow me to get hammered every weekend. It'll probably the same for a while yet. (I'm 22, mates are between 22 and 24)
I feel your pain though. These people will regret it so much when they are older. As they say- youth is wasted on the young, and you only live once. IMO you need to have a laugh while you can.

like mark said its a ntural progression
tbh im past the days where i used to spend half my life pissed up. got too many other things going on in my life (predomenantly work) to be able to do that, but i dont really miss it.
might only end up going on one good session every month but then it seems so much better cos its more of a treat if you know what i mean
ive been to every club in town so many times over the past few years that no of them seem to interest me that much at the moment anyway

Theres more to life than getting drunk pal.
Plus, why do you all assume that you hit 30 and then suddenly cant go out? If you have kids etc, it maybe not often but you will still be able to do it
And they say kids are stupid

Abuot 3years ago me and my mates used to go out all the time, decide on the spur of the moment to go out into town clubbing. Go for a drive/cruising in our cars. Drink silly amounts and generally not care.
Tonight I phone my mates up to try get them to go out and get the response, ahhhh, cant really be bothered and I'm tired, got work etc.etc. I'm 23 next month. Surely we(I?) shouldnt be like this? I remember my uncle going out getting wrecked evey weekend up until he was about 33/35 ish years old. But instead, find myself sitting in, looking for houses on the net, drinking wine and doing the washing?
It bothers me that we're not care-free beer guzzling louts that we once were!!! Whats going on!!!
its because we contacted them in a nationwide campaing to make sure you dont drink anymore

Same happened to me but I actually prefer it now & look forward to going out once in a blue moon instead of Thus, Fri, Sat, Sun night!!!
Get yourself a girl & you wont care!!

Still go out whenever I can afford it, only these days it's usually a bit of a marathon rather than a trip to the pub or a shit club.

I'm permanatly still out at 23 but it's a trade off between a serious relationship (i.e. calming down) or not growing up I don't feel ready to give up my youth
