It works exceptionally well as a beer break in the middle of an endurance session.

Some friends and I were on beer in the main from 10am Saturday, till 3am Sunday in Devon a couple of weeks ago.

Saturday evening we stopped for a bite, and the beer had been getting a little heavy, so we had a bottle of Magners each with our din dins and it realy hit the spot.

Straight back onto the beers and chasers with renewed vigour after the golden Irish drop.

I was saying something like that to one of the lads...

It has gone a full circle...when your younger drinking cider to get pissed it a necessity due to its cheapness...

Now as a full grown man I have gone full circle and am drinking the stuff again...albeit a more refined version...

Are they related to Bulmers in Hereford? My Irish mate ros told me that it was called bulmers in Ireland, always wondered if it was the same company!
