i start a four year apprenticeship in construction plant engeneering and maintenance on monday, money seems to be decent

One major problem with this.
I entered IT sales from School and the money was excellent - once everyone jumps on the bangwagon, margins drop you have to work harder for sales with less money.

There is always a "honeymoon" period with Sales and you have to remember if you have dire month after dire month, your totally dispensable.




a good salesman will always have a job though. Ive been a commission based rep for 4 years, never had a month where I didnt make enough money. but its hit and miss. Some weeks I make £3000 others I make as little as £300.

£300 a week would do me just fine

better then £150 i earn now..
