I iknow this is a vauxhall forum before any smart arses say, but I cant be arsed joining a toyota forum just to ask this, and I also know some members he have owned them before...
Ive been looking at some aerotop models and they have all been auto's, is this the case with all aerotops? If so what are auto models like, do they have a manual option, etc?

I don't think any auto has a manual option mate. And I'm positive you get T tops (if thats the same as the aerotop?) in manual. You looking at a Turbo or Normal Aspiration? And what year you looking to get roughly?

mkiv tt will have a manual mode mate, the autobox in there is damned good

AK was always raving about the auto box in his supra!! 
I think the aero top comes in both Auto & manual but both are pretty damn rare!!!

yeah, have heard a few good things about the auto boxes, but wondered if anyone had experienced them first hand. Also read somewhere they had a manual mode aswell but wasnt sure if this was all or not.
Will keep looking as not found exactly what Im after yet, but seems a few ood aerotops out there for some good money.

not sure about manual mode but the kickdown entering a wet greasy roundabout with near 500bhp at the rear wheels & a loony driving is simply amazing  
Get a few importers to keep look out in Japan...get a fresh import!!!

mate of mine has one, when i drove it i thought the auto was ace, really crisp and very adaptive to your driving style

I may go for a test drive in one if I find one local enough. Have driven a manual and loved it, so if the auto's arent too bad I'll go for an aerotop auto
