Had some really bad news today- a guy who attended the School of Dance where I work drowned yesterday while swimming in a Loch in Dumfries

He was only 18, and such a nice genuine guy. He was brilliant at break dancing. He was at a Dance Competion at the weekend in Dumfries. Don't know the details yet, all I know is he went for a swim in a loch and didn't resurface

My cousin drowned 8 weeks ago as well while larking about in the sea at Blackpool, this has just brought the heartache back today. Can't believe its happened to someone else I knew

Please be careful if your tempted to jump in for a swim in the hot weather

I know Ally, I seem to hear/read about it happening to someone somewhere every week atm. Thought I was just noticing it more because of what had happened in our own family, but people don't seem to appreciate the dangers
