I bought a written off corsa 6 months ago ,cat c damage no log book for 100.00 ,all that was needed to fix the car was a new slam panel and bumper.Once I had fixed the car I decided to chuck in an x20xev engine.I have just finished the car bar a few teething probs. So how would I go about getting the log book and getting it taxed

I thought:

get mot first,Then take the car for vic1 test and then apply for logbook

is it as simple as this, anyone had experience or work for the dvla
