halfords were doing ready to run hpi saloons (model - rs4) for £100 in their sale. damn good price since the rrp on them is like £250+

go to your local store and see if they got any left in stock

they will do 50/60 mph out of the box and are 2speed transmission also

Get a buggy or a monster truck i have had touring cars and they are boring because u have to find flat ground and quite alot.

Has he got a nitro or a electric car? Nitro are quicker but a sod to work. electric are easy but not 50mph fast.

Because you tend to be able to not see it running before you buy it, you dont know its history, it might look good in the pictures but could possibly be a bag of shit when you get it.....

Some of the examples I have seen have been awful and 90% of the time it ends up costing more than it would of had you bought it new.

This is true. But the motors and speed controllers are expensive to get it to nitro spec

Buy a buggy, you can get 50mph+ ones and they're more fun than tourers.
