Following on from Robs thread, I'm off work now for a bit, so I was thinking maybe I should go see some of North Wales. Starting in Liverpool, out of Runcorn, down the M56 up to the north coast, up towards Colwyn Bay, LLandudno, then on to Canarvon, down to Pwllheli, back across through Porthmadog where Rob stayed, past Llanaber then back through Snowdonia towards Chester and home.

About 260 miles, so perhaps a full days worth by the time I've eaten a few ice creams en route

Date tba. Depends when I'm up early enough in the morning

What you think about missing out Pwllheli, could possibly leave Carnarvon for Llanberis (visited there on a school trip many years ago, would be cool to go back), past Snowdon down to Beddgelert then on to Porthmadog?

Won't have time to do much, not planning to sleep anywhere, just get up in the morning and head out, drive for a bit, eat some lunch on a beach somewhere, then come home

Barmouth... nice little town lovely beach, not far from snowdonia i think, and they have lots of sex shops...

Also Lake Bala... a lovely peaceful area with a nice town to catch some dinner and gorge views across the river, lots of water sports available..

Wales is a lovely country!
