Tom i mentioned that you have to take size into comparison!

The point is, there will be NO British engineers i.e no british industry in that area which if im not mistaken must be one of if not the largest.

So its a ticking time bomb. The figures in the article have dropped considerably since 1996 where there were nearly 10,000 more engineers graduating. Which means the populas has grown less are engineers.

There is also a problem with employment and the education system.

Go to uni etc get qualified BUT you've no experience.

DOnt go to uni and work to gain experience BUT your not qualified.

Unless your Uni does a 4 year course witha years placement. I can't belive people say you leave Uni with no experience still. You don't. Things have changed to stop that. Sure, it's not the same as 4 years experienmce, but still... Anyway. TV sucks.

I have been in full time employment since 17 and i'm doing proffesional qualifications so that's also bollocks.

Whats bollocks? I have many friends from uni both one in media, 2 in travel and toursim all finding these things ring true, im not making it up!

Plus tom, the article i was quoting was from autocar last week. Its not bollocks.

From experience, you get no experience in uni (except placements etc).
