http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/index.html

you need to start building up your feedback...sometimes buyers will not bid in an auction of a seller with very little feedback (i mean 1-2 positive), even though the seller might be genuine.

start by looking for 1 penny items with no delivery costs and buy... positive feedback will start coming...get a hundred of these and for £1 you can have a 100 + feedback

check my edited reply up
th
also, charges vary...normally to put an item for sale, there will be a listing fee and when auction ends, if item is sold, there is a final value fee which ebay charges

as for payment, you will need to have a paypal acocunt (again charges apply depending on how payment is sent) or you might accept cash, cheque, postal order but again this normally puts buyers off...most buyers prefer paypal as payment because of the protection they can get
