Ive got a job interview at one near me this week for a sales administrator. just wondering

1- what its like to work there
2- what is the pay like and is there a progressive rise
3- what are working conditions like
4- are you busy most of the day or are you left twiddling your thums at times
5- any tips for the job interview

also any other info would help. i know other dealerships are different to the one im applying for but all info will help so i know more than i did before

As ive told loads of people before

99% of people in the trade dont actully work for the manufacure, you work for the dealer, the manufacture could be the worst one about, but it could be a really good place to work, and the other way around

do some reserch on the dealer themselves

this relates to point 123 and 4

main thing with sales admin is organisation and learing the necessary skills quickly (if you have never done it before)

dealing with people on the phone and building a rappor with other dealers as you will be doing loads of dealer transfers.

also helps to know the product inside out as you will need to pick up on spec variants very quickly.
