Looking to travel down to chester from Scotland on Thursday to look at a car, just wondering whats nearby...

Was planning on getting a mate to drive me down but he cant get the day off work so looks like im flying or getting a train. What airport is closest and what train station, just want to find out whats cheapest..

liverpool or manchester will be the closest, i think it will be liverpool but not 100%.

Look for flights to liverpool or manchester, manchester would probably be easier to get to from the airport but on the other hand if you get the train to liverpool it's only an extra 45 mins on the local line to chester.....

there should be a train from scotland to crewe, then crewe across to chester

Cheers for the help, found train ticket to Crewe is the cheapest option, only 18 quid..
