which do you think would be the easiest to fit to a mk4 astra? the calibra one? just been reading stuff in TV and it mentions grinding n such like, im not willing to get the grinder out on a car im paying £3300 for lol.

and before an old fart moans at me for not posting on astrasport..... it takes donkeys years to get a decent reply on there.... and plenty of you have got or had astras on here... so

Easiest to fit will be the Mk4 Astra Gi leather, just hold out for that mate

I would guess that the subframes would be different due to diferent sliding mechanisms but thats only a guess

but if you got the subframes from the car that the interior came out of would it not make the job that much easier?

yeah id try Vecta B leather (CDX model iirc)
or 1/2 leather (SRi) because they're the same "era" type of thing

I would of thought that the MK4 seats from the GSi-T would fit straight in, but finding them in a breakers will be the hard part I think!

A re-trim is going to set you back a lot more than a second hand set of Vauxhall seats. Well, if you want it done properly in a material which actually resembles leather.
