my gf's driving test is on tuesday,and she really wants to use her own car as she feels more comfortable in it,the question is would she be able to use her own car for her test?

Yes I believe it is possible as long as its road legal (MOT, Tax, valid insurence etc)

Yeah you can, I used my own when I did it. Think planys right about MOT and all the rest.

Also if it has any modifications then they will need to be taken off, atleast thats what happened to a friend of mine.

just go to halfords or any accessory shop and buy a mirror, only a few quid. and that bit about taking mods off your car is bull. it may be wise to do so as examiners may get the wrong impression about you but aslong as everything is legal, you can drive whatever car you want

Make 100% sure that all lights/indicators etc are working for when they do the pre-test Q/A bit
