Im sat opposite my Boss, nooone else in the room.

Im coming up to 12months working here, i've taken on a trainee for a shiftparter and my workloads gone through the roof.

How do I initiate a conversation?

How do i get more money?

I was literally just about to ask him, then one of the 2nd line guys walked in and asked if I wanted dinner. So we went to the pub, just got back - had 3 pints and stink of beer.

I dont think now is a good time

Fucking office language

Why not write a formal letter or e-mail? that way you'll actually say what you want
