I need to renew my insurance on Friday yet have a claim still pending where part of a building fell on the Audi
They say untill the other party pay up it will still show as a claim against me, this has taken over 7 months to sort out and is still pending
So thats the story behind it and my question is, if I go to another insurer, once this is all sorted will they amend my policy back to a years no claims??
As I really do not want to use Elephant again as they maybe the cheapest but couldn't be any slower if they tried on sorting this out.

nope, until liability is resolvd you are guilty, unlike other stance of law where you are innocent until proven guilty.... it really fucks me off.
I was getting pissed as my insurance is up for renewal and i was being penalised for an accident that was not my fault, but on Sat i recieved the letter saying that they accept all liability

thats right until the case is closed your the guilty party as they may have admitted liability but the case isn't closed

I have and I said as they are having no luck can they give me thier contact details, have had a very long argument about it and they finished by saying we are speaking to your insurance company then hung up
I ring them all the time now let it ring then hang up as thier call centre probably works of stats so it looks like they have missed lots of in coming calls
