Is it possible to pick a good one up secondhand one with a motorised screen for £300 or under? I know it sounds optimistic but i just wondered if anyone else is better at finding bargains. I've looked on ebay and it is possible to get one for this price but they often seem to look like dodgy japanese ones that i've never heard of. Am i just been unrealistic on my budget?

The "unknown brand" screens still work just the same, motorised screens can be had for £100 on ebay.

I thought with those type of screens, they may have uncompatible wiring, i.e. different colour positives etc. or is this not the case?

I wouldn't bother with a cheap no make one personally.
You dont really need to watch TV in your car anyway

Dvd/ tv in car is not practical i know but i own a french car... and i'm as impractible person as they come
