Maybe not the smartest thing to ask on a Corsa forum but ive just got SRi clocks for the C20XE conversion but they've done well more miles than the current ones.

Whats the best /quickest way to clock them back? PM perhaps if it shouldnt be public knowledge.

Only think its illegal if you sell the car to someone with a false reading on the clocks, without informing them.

what Kyle said. you can change the clocks/remove the clocks, whatever you want, as long as you dont do it to your financial gain at the time of sale

you have to inform people the clocks have been changed, if the mileage is less

My new speedo will say my car has done 0 miles

I wonder, what do I do when I MOT the car, as I plan to just present the old MOT certificates if I sell the car as well as the old clocks to verify that the milage is that + the milage on the new speedo. However, I don't know what the MOT people will say when I drive the car to them and the clocks say the car has done 4 miles

its more to keep track of the miles on the shell, engine was rebuilt anyway but Im an honest chap so wont be selling it to anyone claiming its only done 12k miles.
