had my car mot'd today, failed badly

but i was telling the fella about me puttin gthe xe in it, and he was telling me it couldnt be done, then i told him it can, so he told me it wont get insured beaucse i would need a engineers report, then i said i've done it beofre and didnt need one, so he said, they wont pay out then if you have a bump, so i told him, my old one was crashed and paid out. so then he decided it would be £1000 to change chasis numbers and stuff to make it all leagal? this guy chatting shit to con me out of cash?
