im am going to pick up my first corsa and im very happy to say that its a gsi! is there anything i should realy look out for?it isnt in the best condition but for the money you cant go wrong.this is going to be a project so watch out in the near future.

will post pics up tomorrow if it all goes to plan.ive got to drive to the other side of london from south wales

look out for cracked pillars (next to the doors) smoky engines especially on c16xe engined ones (L and some M plates) general rust and straightness of the chassis.

engine lights, generally EGR valves, expensive from vauxhall and a bastid to fit!!!!

Leave tick over for a good 10 minutes til engine is warm then give it a rev to see if there is any smoke out of the exhaust, if yes it will need a new set of valve stem seals
