better than the petrol ones IMO
great build quality, reliable, quick, economical, look good, well specced
get a GTTDI 150 if you can afford one

ah cheers, just when i start in police later this year, want a new car, love the astra soo much but want something smaller but still with a bit of kick to it. guy across the road has the TDi and says its great car to drive etc, plus atm im spending £30+ per week on petrol, £80+ when i drive to MK every couple of weeks. done 10k miles on my car since december

diesel is definitely the way to go then.
i'd have bought one instead of my C if i could insure it

imsurance quote is only about a grand on it, paying £900 atm on astra and obviously gettin quite a large pay rise with police

i was quoted considerably more than that
its such a step up from tha ashtray, a much much better car
