foreman told me last nite we should have slit a pipe or soemthing for the oil for the lift n said it fell itself... lol

Its an accident. Maybe if you had been out driving it and crashed that would be bad, but a car falling off a ramp is somehow worse as its rare and more strange to see the car hanging.

Crack on with the job if you're able to. The bosses get paid to deal with hassle. Thats why they're on boss money.
