its a mail order company like screwfix but a bit argos/millet/maplins...sell loads of things from cabling to tents etc Old mans got an account with them and you get sent their special offers every month or so and had a similar looking air con unit on the back like drunken got - was up at £307

yeah air con in the UK is almost worth it for the 10-15 days a year where its just about hot....

it was £299 from comet, looked round loads of shops and on the net, net was a bit cheaper but P&P on top plus we wanted it today Couldnt sleep at all last nite, me and the missus were sprawled out on the bed with the duvet on the floor and still couldnt sleep, tonight should be a lot better

I noticed Homebase are selling a 9000BTU unit for £170, dunno if it's gonna be reliable though?

But as someone said earlier it's not exactly hot in England (or in your case Scotland) so probably not much of a good investment.

to be fair it is slightly unnecessary cos its not that hot that often, but im so happy with it and i know ill be able to sleep again, my room is always pretty warm through the summer anyway On full power its pretty loud but you can change the fan speed etc and if u shut the door on a bedroom it should be more than enough.

got one of those for our server room, they are good but noisy plus if it has an exit pipe they get quite warm so make sure its close to a window
