would be like having a roll cage made of foam tubing (like lax power tried to pull off years ago, or was it another gay magazine??)
better off saving the extra & getting a proper cage which does a job other than looking pretty...

If you crash and roll then it will probably kill you.
You can get MS Performance show cages for £250, they are the same proce as Dimma ones right? They are a bit more functional too.

I think it would snap or bend or something. I can't see it beig that good a thing to bolt into your car really...

Fair enough , but you would have to the roll the car at quite a speed (or into an object) , in order to flatten the roof.
In that case I would be dead anyway

Id have thought they was dangerous..... all that extra shiny blingy metal to sit on your face when you roll the car because its not designed to withstand any punishment!
Get a real one in ..... and get it either polished up or powder coated!

its made of aluminium thats why they aint strong. look at any proper race car (fia spec or stock car) and itll be made of steel. plus the advantages of having a steel cage is obvious, will give a lot more strength.

for the price you'll pay for the show cage couldnt you get a steel one from safety devices? the one for my mk2 xr2 was like £200
