I got a m8 who has got a 1.4 corsa sport and standard exhaust and just a kn filter and i have 1.2 with performance exhaust and filter. what makes his loud ?? is it just cos e as a 1.4 ?

The 1.4 ecotec engine has a nice tone to it as standard, same with the 1.6.

He might have his silencer box cut out? Or cat removed possibly?

Induction kit or panel filter? Induction kits are loud. He probably has a different sort of exhaust to you too.

If you want it louder, go get the center silencer chopped out. Powerflow should be able to help.

all the 1.4 and 1.6 sports are loud when you put a induction kit on them, his noise will be coming from the engine and your will be a little bit from the engine and a little bit from the exaust

so really get rid of mine and get 1.4 lol any way of gettin mine more engine or more exhaust
