As of the end of this month onwards, I shall be having quite a substantial amount of money in my account after bills, and this will keep building up each month!

i have £23 in my hsbc. an £43 in my halifax an £1560 in my savings tin in my bedroom

I've been wasting so much money laterly. Realised only way to save money is to set up a direct debit for the begining of the month to go into a savings account. Always tell myself i'll save money at the end of the month but it never happens as i'll just go out, or spend it in the flat or on the car.

If I were you I would attempt to pay off the rather large overdraft you have first before saving!

Am hitting -1900 at the end of the month at the moment. Have a 2200 interest free overdraft. Only been working since october after graduating from uni though. Paying off my CC debts at the moment, not too bothered about the OD.

Usually around £100 in my current account left for me to play with after expenses, mainly because I have recently learned how to save money and currently have around £3000 in my savings.
