i went to Paris in 6th year, stayed in a right shithole called Mr Bed watch out for those monkeys that try and sell your stuff, steal your wallet etc

Grand arch de la Defense is quite good. Its further up from the Arc de triomphe. Its a modern business centre.
Also went to the Sacre Coure (sp), which is the big church sat on the top of the hill at Montmarte. Get a good view from there.
I went up the tower at night and in the daytime. Its an amazing view at night, all the main attractions like the Sacre Coure (sp), arc de triomphe etc. are lit up
