?...what have you done with the area behind the tv? its just that i was lining it all up today and realised that when ive got the heating on it going to blow straight into the back of my tv install. have you guys just left it as it is/moved it to face downwards or covered it up etc.

i never have my heaters on - mine is just open as normal still.

There should be a panel there that you can rotate round to control whether you want the central vents on or not so you should just be able to turn it round so they are blocked off and leave it like that?

I wouldn't leave them open cos it'll make your screen really hot.

ye that what i thought and didnt fancy having a red hot screen. i had a look behind it all and there is like a flat panel that when its one way blocks the bottom of it and the other way allows it to be fully open. ive just closed it off so will see how it goes when i get it all back on

You can cut the ducting off and tape over the resulting hole with duck tape

i used the standard flap that opens and closes them, cut it all right back then siliconed that in, i would not recomend having it open

YEH i duct taped mine up, i removed the original open close part. hopefully be ok.

Ive got a motorised one in my dash, where the middle vents were.

Had to chop a fair bit of the tube/pipe on the elft out, just made a makeshift cover out of duck tape and taped it in.

Its OK, jus takes a little longer for the left side of the windscreen to demist
