my boss in all his wisdom thinks instead of giving me a pay rise, it would be better to put me on a bonus shceme thing where as i do a set target and ta daa get a bonus
thing is, the way it works the code dont always get put through the till
when they do they sometimes dont get added on to the total target figure
and at the moment looking at the figures there isnt enuff customer's after the service we provide so the last 2 month it has always missed target
i work my ass off as it is, i really do.
just considering is it worth it?
apparently the bonus is qtrly?? and can be upto £200 <<i may have got that wrong it may be monthly.

200 a month payrise is quite a big rise.... for what sounds to be a low paid job (tills/sales etc) 2400 a year rise.....

but... 200 a qtr is pish... yeah

If someone offers you a bonus instead of a payrise I would seriously question why they are doing it, a) to save money b) to con you out of money

you should get a yearly pay rise to counter rises in living costs, travel costs to work etc..... Inflation too
A bonus is on top of that for overall good work.
The rate, or level, of payrise can be performace related too though!
