Someone I know has just swapped a 99 3 series BMW for one.

I take it the cars fast, but what are the known problems/faults with these? Is he likely to be skint keeping it running?

which model?

They are lovely cars, tyres are hugely expensive. And apparently they are known to leak..ALOT

and they fall to bits inside...

But they are IMO some of the prettiest cars ever

I WILL own an esprit v8

It's a def weekend car like the TVR.

He is using it as a daily car!!! Crazy fool. I'll have to check out what the insurance is as it's got to be high as he is under 21 with just 1 years no claims

Hopefully the new suspension willsort that out and then make it uncomfortable for me

it's drink problem. Can't be that bad if you keep it off boost surely as it is essentially a redtop with a turbo on?

GT3 is very affordable, Its not as fast as the v8, so itd be similar in power to an m3.

But so pretty and so exclusive. Even the orange one
