My bro's gf's ex has started ringing & texting her recently & bringing up the past etc..
I only found out last night why she's getting so upset about it;
When she was with him, he used to beat her to the point where she was in hospital for weeks at a time.. amongst a list of injuries were ruptured splien (sp?), broken bones etc... 
He also used to try & force himself on her (rape? - I'd say so!)..
Anyway, they split, and she was just wanting to get it all behind her & move on... She's only just managed to start moving on from all this shit, and he's now trying to bring it all up again.
Understandably, my brother wants to kill this fucker... and under the circumstances, I'll probably be along side him all the way .
Suggestions please, before we do something worth regretting.

Id tell the police, no point doing it yourself as he could press charges against you two if you do anything to him which means he gets away with it

...if your son was at home, crying all alone on the bedroom floor, cause he's hungry, and the only way to feed him is to sleep with a man for a little bit of money, and his daddys gone so we're smoking rock now in and out of lock down, i ain't got a job now. so for you this is just a good time but for me this what i call life.
But I would get police involved then change numbers, break legs etc etc
